In Pronia Square, where the National Assembly convened in 1832 to confirm Otto's election as Greek king, there is a remarkable sculpture. According to history, Siegel carved the sculpture on the rock in 1840–1841 at Otto's father's request in remembrance of the king's court warriors who had perished in Nafplio.
