Beautiful monastery in the Epidaurus area

An ancient monastery known as Kalami is located close to Ancient Epidaurus, more precisely between the towns of Adami and Koliaki. The monastery is magnificently encircled by lovely mountain vegetation. Although the monastery was established in the early 17th century, it appears to have existed in solitary hermits even before monasticism. Following the founding of a women's fraternity in 1972, the ancient male monastery was reopened in 1970. The new monastery, which welcomes a large number of pilgrims each year, was constructed with great effort by godly hearts.
