The oldest neighbourhood in Nafplio

Founded in 1951 by the Nafplio Progressive Association, it is situated in the heart of the city. It is located in the neoclassical structure that used to be the old girls' school. The significant writings of Greek authors are kept in the library, along with a collection of both new and some older local newspapers. Library visitors can access up-to-date newspaper editions and magazines, reference materials for academics, and more than seven hundred books covering local subjects and general information. Its goal is to ensure the book is as accessible to the general public as feasible. This will undoubtedly aid in preserving the abundant spiritual legacy and overall enhance the cultural and spiritual elevation of our nation. The library's rooms occasionally host lectures, seminars, conventions, conferences, contests, along with exhibitions of paintings and sculptures
