Hidden church on the Arvanitia walk

The Church participated in the pro-revolutionary and revolutionary events while nestled in a forest on the hill of Larissa, where a temple dedicated to Hera Akraia had stood. The two religious paintings of Panagia Glykofilousa and Entry of Theotokos into the Temple (Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary) (1705) are the most significant of the holy relics, together with a Holy Bible published in Venice in 1776. The Entry of Theotokos is the focus of the Church of Panagitsa, also known as Portokalousa.
